BINUS BUSINESS SCHOOL’s Booth Was Crowded at the UI Career and Scholarship Expo XVI 2013
“Our own signature lays in the quality of our work.”
That statement from Sidney Newton Bremer reflected the integrity of the participants at the UI Career and Scholarship Expo XVI 2013. The job fair which was held for three days from September 12th to 14th 2013 succeeded in capturing the attention of job and scholarship seekers – both graduates from Universitas Indonesia and the general public. Long queues were seen at almost every national and multinational company’s booths participating in the event which was held for the 16th time at Balariung UI, Depok. The companies participating in the event included KIDECO, IDX, Kompas, Paragon, BNI, Bank Bukopin, Garuda Indonesia, ASTRA Internasional, SCTV and many more.
Institutions that offered scholarships such as BINUS BUSINESS SCHOOL, LPDP, IIEF, Prasetiya Mulya and many more were present too. Other than the expo, there were also presentations from companies and student bodies and also a tips seminar titled ‘How to Succeed in Job Interviews’ and a career insight seminar to find out the right industry based on one’s interests.
Among the institutions that offered scholarships, BINUS BUSINESS SCHOOL’s booth was crowded from the first day of the UI Career and Scholarship Expo XVI 2013. There are many good qualities that set BINUS BUSINESS SCHOOL apart from the other institutions that provide scholarships. BINUS BUSINESS SCHOOL provides opportunities to students to apply their knowledge which they have acquired during their study by working as staff assistants at BINUS BUSINESS SCHOOL. Not only that, BINUS BUSINESS SCHOOL also provides a shorter study period, compared to other institutions, as little as 16 months.
“I’m interested to apply for a Master’s degree scholarship at BINUS BUSINESS SCHOOL, although my background is not from a business or marketing major. But a well-known institution gives no room for doubt when it comes to the education quality so I’m sure when I join BINUS BUSINESS SCHOOL, I will have broader knowledge and insight,” said Dicky, one of the people who visited the booth. He works as an IT employee in Jakarta.
Among thousands of job seekers at the UI Career and Scholarship Expo XVI 2013, a Universitas Indonesia alumnus, Yuditha, said that the information received from the BINUS BUSINESS SCHOOL’s booth attendants was very clear and their service was really friendly so that Yudhita wasn’t reluctant to ask more questions about the offered scholarship programs.
