CEO Speaks on Innovation PT Trakindo Utama: Be A Leader, Not A Boss

Who doesn’t know the President Director of PT Trakindo Utama, Bari Hamami? The friendly man is known to possess international-class competence and he has made a name for Trakindo Utama throughout the world.

With Bari as a leader, Trakindo has won some notable awards. In 2010, Trakindo won the award for education category with their featured program “Improving Elementary School in Indonesia”.

In 2012, the company achieved another triumphant award from the Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration of the Republic of Indonesia for the category of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Maintenance at work, for their company which operated in Pekanbaru.

We also “force” them to teach because it will help them to be a leader, not a boss,” he explained to the audience of CEO Speaks on Innovation, Thursday (4/10).

PT. Trakindo Utama is an official dealer in Indonesia for Caterpillar products, the largest producer in the world for mining, forestry, farming and construction equipment, including diesel and natural gas engines, industrial machines and set generators.

The company has become an official dealer for Caterpillar since 1971 and now it has more than 60 branch offices throughout the country, from Sumatra to Papua.
